The party takes place at the ORWOhaus, which is the biggest self-governed complex of rehearsal rooms in Europe.

ATTENTION: NEW IN 2016!

This year the party won’t happen in the hall downstairs, but in the first floor of Orwohaus instead. The means we will have a bit less space, but finally proper toilets, a separate room for events and seminars, no more dust, and a quieter although smaller sleeping area, including a fluffy carpet (please check the remarks below!). Additionally we’ll have a big bar area and terrace as well!

To enter the halls of our secret society, you’ll have to enter a leet doorcode.

Here’s a hint:

One cube
three sides of a pyramid
three craftmanships
seven deadly sins of demomaking.

Where to Stay?

We offer a (small) separate sleeping room inside the venue! There will be no beds however so bring a sleeping mattress etc. Since it’s a party it can also get loud late – free earplugs will be available at the info-desk.

BEWARE: This year the sleeping room has limited capacity! There will be enough other opportunities, eg. on one of our sofas, or beneath/next to your table. Just don’t expect any luxuriousity. And please be fair to others and don’t bring a kingsize air mattress if you’re only one person.

There are several hotels and hostels around Orwohaus as well, check http://gohotels.me/Berlin/ORWOhaus/ or  http://www.tripadvisor.com.

Camping is allowed as well on the outside area on one of the grass fields next to Orwohaus.

Food

Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning is included in the festival ticket!

Regarding lunch and dinner, there are several options you can choose from this year:

  • Infodesk will be selling sausages (to grill outside), chocolate bars and some asian soups
  • At the Bar you can get a variety of snacks as well (various changing stock, eg. pizzabaguettes etc)
  • There is a Netto Supermarket in walking distance, which is open Fr+Sa
  • You can grill your own stuff outside
  • ..and of course there are delivery services as well.

Shopping

There is a supermarket just 100 m from the partyplace. Keep in mind that the marketplace is closed on Sunday. In addition there is a 24h gas station within walking distance.
